McLaren MSO unveils one-off 650S Project Kilo

  • McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has introduced the unique 650S Project Kilo model.
  • McLaren says this is “one of the most personalized, bespoke projects that MSO have undertaken to date”. The vehicle has received an extensive list of carbon fiber options including the roof, the rear diffuser, new sill panels and instrument cluster bezel with integrated shift lights.
  • There’s also new aluminum water and oil filler caps painted in body color with McLaren Orange logos, McLaren Orange painted inner door seams with MSO logos and a 24 carat gold plated exhaust heat shield.
  • Interestingly, there is a small drawing of a kiwi bird on the engine cover, for which the British company says is a reference to New Zealand, “the birth place of our founder, Bruce McLaren”.
